ENGLISH COURSE IN CANTERBURY

From the 30th of March to the 7th of April, 48 students from 2º and 4º ESO levels, accompanied by five teachers, participated in one-week English course in the town of Canterbury, England. The course took place in Concorde International School.

In Canterbury, we stayed with English families. We attended lessons in the mornings and in the afternoons, we did different activities: a city tour including a visit to the cathedral, an afternoon quiz, a treasure hunt in the city, visits to the Beany and the Canterbury Tales Museums. One afternoon, we went to Broadstairs, a charming seaside resort on the Kent coast. We walked in the beach and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

On Saturday, we travelled to London by train. First, we went to the British Museum. Then, we did a walking tour and visited some of the most famous landmarks: The Houses of Parliament and the Big Ben, Downing Street, The House of Guards, Wetminster Abbey, Saint James Park, Buckingham Palace, Leicester Square and Picadilly Circus. We also had time for shopping.

It was an unforgettable experience. We made new friends, practiced our English and learnt new aspects of the English culture. We had a lot of fun!
