Cinema
in the Bilingual Section
At the end of this term, the 16th
December, the bilingual students went to see the film “A Christmas Carol”.
The film is based on “A Christmas Carol”, a short
novel by Charles Dickens. This film, which lasts 95 minutes, was produced by
Walt Disney and directed by Robert Zemeckis. He is the director of many famous
films, such as “Back to the Future”, “Forest Gump” and “The Polar Express”.
Here is a summary of the plot:
Ebezener Scrooge (Jim Carrey) doesn’t like
Christmas and he celebrates it in a bad mood. Mr. Scrooge is mean with
everybody, nobody likes him. He shouts to his servant (Gary Oldman) and to his
nephew (Colin Firth). But on Christmas Eve the ghosts of the Past, Present and
Future Christmas appear in his bedroom to take him in a trip along Christmas in
his life, and making him face reality.
